Dear Competitors,
Due to a slow take up of entries for the upcoming July QR event (only 62 entries as of yesterday), the Management Committee had to make a difficult decision to cancel the meeting.
Why? These days, event costs are very high. The HRCC must achieve a minimum number of entries in order to cover expenses. We had forecast we would not meet this threshold.
Thank you to everyone who worked hard to this point, including our volunteers, committees and Event Secretary Benn Gregory.
The club thanks all entrants that had committed to this event. We will look to reward your support in future events. Full refunds will be made to all who paid. You will be contacted by the club in the coming week or two, so these can be processed. The event has been removed from the MA Portal.
